I am not a big porn watcher, but do feel people who watch it are really not doing anything wrong. It is better for me not to watch it because many studies show it can contribute to erectile dysfunction. Also, while there are articles that point to an increase in females who enjoy porn, there are still many women who do not like it and, in fact, have great disdain for it. Women who are into porn probably do not care whether a guy is into it or not so I would rather just avoid it altogether. But I would prefer not to lie to a woman who is vehemently against porn, so avoiding it helps maintain an honest, open relationship. But again, I do not put anyone down for watching porn and more power to you if what I just mentioned does not affect you in any way.
With all of that said, I want to warn the AO community about a computer security issue which impacts xhamster.com. Apparently this site has been referred to often in this porn post area. Be fore warned that the security issue can also happen on some lesser used porn sites as well. The issue is with what is becoming legacy software: Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) and Adobe Flash. Microsoft is not hiding the fact that it is not putting much muster into keeping up IE and that users should switch to Microsoft Edge. I am not endorsing Edge over any other capable browsers, however, it is the way to go if you feel you must stick with Microsoft for your browsing experience. By going to Edge, you will probably notice a big performance improvement on some sites. Adobe Flash has been basically replaced with newer protocols found in HTML5 but some sites still use it and many browsers will go ahead and run it. Adobe also announced that will not even support Flash after December 31, 2020. It is highly likely that those sites who do not adopt newer standards will continue to cause havoc to some. Many browsers have protections so users who are diligent about updating and even using anti-virus reduce the odds of being hacked by problems like this significantly. You can read more about the porn vulnerability at https://www.en24news.com/2020/09/crimin ... urity.html where if it becomes a broken link at some point, you might find it on the Wayback Machine at archive.org. Like everything else, xhamster.com may eventually fix it but until then some may need to shore up their PCs before going there. Hope you enjoy the sites you go to and that the entire AO community remains safe with both your digital and personal health lives.
