Does current fashion reflect "anal acceptance"

Disclaimer: The following applies to Western Europe only since I'm not so familiar with everyday fashion elsewhere.

I remember times when women's fashion was all about cleavage, but these day's you get shorts, yoga pants, tight leggings and skinny jeans specifically cut to make the buttocks look appetizing. Around where I live fitness studios are advertising with special training programs for women to make their asses firmer and rounder, and all the tops and jackets have become short to offer an unrestricted view of women's "assets".

At the same time women's magazines and blogs feature more discussion and advice on anal sex than I have ever seen before. More women watch anal porn and surveys show that more women are practising it.

I can't help but wonder whether whether all that emphasis of the booty in fashion correlates with more women beginning to see their asses as primary sexual attribute and focus for pleasure.

There's definitely a growing trend towards tight pants that show off a woman's ass and about ass aesthetics in general, but I'm not sure that everyone is making the connection between asses and anal sex still, there still seem to be a lot of people who love asses but haven't made that full next step to anal pleasures.

There is a growing trend towards anal interest, though, as you noted, and there's a lot more anal-positive information out there, busting myths and teaching people how to do anal properly so they enjoy it. Anal porn is always getting more popular, more women admit to watching and even preferring to watch anal porn, and women are increasingly talking about doing anal, enjoying it, and preferring it. And as more people talk with their friends about anal in a positive way, more people are going to want to try it for themselves.

I think it is implicit that the current focus on the arse is about anal as well. Finally, after decades of being ignored (not be me I might add!) attention is firmly back where it belongs! For once a fashion that I can be on board with. And since so many women follow the celebrity trends almost without thinking, it goes without saying they are going to get far more experience of anal sex. Sure, a minority won't like it for one reason or another but the majority are going to see how good it can be and how anal had been badly maligned.
