Cleaning tip

I found this in a distant corner of the web and it works really well in our household, I'd be interested to know if it works for others.
The 'normal' position for emptying our bowels is to squat - the porcelain throne only showed up in the last couple of centuries, and in France and elsewhere you can still find toilets that are just holes in the ground. In Malaysia I was intrigued a version of the porcelain throne that is built for squatting, although I found working out the best position a bit daunting.
The squat position straightens everything out at the lower end of our digestive system, making it easy to properly empty out.
If you're having trouble getting clean - and you're using a typical Western toilet - hug your knees while emptying your bowels, and take your time. Then a quick shower to freshen up, and you're good to go.
NB results aren't guaranteed if your digestive system is unhappy, so as always tune into your body to make sure the time's right.
