Is there still a taboo on anal ?

Post by Backdoorlover » Thu Mar 10, 2022 12:31 am

I am a big fan of anal sex since the mid 80s and started doing in in 97 I think.

Now we’re decades in time and I notice that having anal sex isn’t a niche anymore. Women from whom I didn’t expect it, have tried it of did it for her lover. Some kept doing it, others stopped. Also the subject is more openly discussed then ever. Butplugs seem to be becoming more common in the bedroom too. I also feel young girls these days are more eager then ever to try anal sex. Back in my youth I wouldn’t even dare to bring it up before I knew my girlfriend for years. And then still she didn’t want to hear anything about it.

So on this forum I read topics where young people engage in anal sex. Girls telling they started anal at 17 or plugging even (much) younger. So seems anal sex is finally escaping the taboo it had been caught in for so long.

My girlfriend, for example, has totally no problems with telling her friends she loves to have her ass fucked. And I can tell my friends I assfuck her daily, she doesn’t mind. For us anal sex has done nothing but good. It brings us emotionally closer together then I even thought possible.

So what do you think ? Is the taboo on anal dissapearing and will it become as common as a blowjob in time ?

Yes, I think so. When I was a kid we were told anal was just something gay men did because they didn't have a vagina and it was referred to as bumming. We were told cumming inside an ass hole produced AIDS! In my teens I had a girlfriend who was a nymphomaniac and one day when she rode me anally, it came as a surprise to me - I'll not tell that whole storey again here - but it was unusual, at that time, for a girl to do that. I was instantly hooked on anal regardless of what the taboo was! The cum dripping out of her ass hole was glorious to see, and best of all, I discovered that the action of ejaculating inside someone's anus did not create a dose of AIDS. I think the idea of having anal until you want to have babies is a great idea. I wouldn't ban vaginal sex or make any rule, but it is a great alternative to other forms of contraception. You are not taking chemicals or cumming in a latex bag and binning your seed. Your partner can absorb your cum and you can feel skin on skin intimacy. With the age of the internet young people are seeing more anal and with online magazines/agony aunts explaining all about anal, lubes, dildos, butt plugs etc; people are more inclined to try anal and anal toys. People are realizing what a viable option anal sex really is. I don't think this sort of talk promotes juvenile promiscuity as kids will have sex with regular contraceptives - though I guess you could say that they have to go get a condom, where with anal they can just get on with it, if they are not concerned about STDs that is.
As for butt plugs, just look at how many are available! All the sizes, shapes, colours and materials. Basic business knowledge dictates that there must be a huge market for so many variations to be available. If they were not selling like hot cakes the choice would be far smaller.

From a millennial perspective I feel like that taboo was secretly going out the door and in like the mid 2010s people started openly joking about eating ass because of a song (forgot the name) and tiktoks of girls openly coercing guys with anal or saying they like anal to drive them to their onlyfans kinda busted the door open too. That and probably the plenty of pornhub polls showing an interest in anal among other "taboos".

Basically it has been a cultural landslide of more open sexualization. Also now that I think about it in the 2010's there was a MUCH higher rise in lgbtq acceptance too and with that inevitably comes anal sex.

Kinda interesting to think about really. Though I do think anal ONLY may have a while to go yet lol.

As a boomer, we never had the access to information, or even porn, to promote or create interest in anal sex. Porn was depicted in magazines or super 8 film.

Readily available access to porn has taught this old dog some tricks that work in the bedroom. I’m certain there would have been more anal sex in the 60’s and 70’s with the information and content available today.

We’ve been married for 40 years and anal only for about the last 4, largely as the result of information and porn. I’m sure there are people who don’t care for it, but for some, it’s the best orgasms you’ll ever experience.

Yes, there is definitely a taboo with anal even in this day and age. I dealt with an issue a while ago. One day before I was off to work, I fucked my then girlfriend up the ass. After climaxing, I pulled up my pants and went straight to work, as I was nearly running late. Unfortunately, a few days after words her and I got into an argument, and she called me a "poopy dick". It got to the point to where any time we would argue she would bring it up, later on I learned that she had also told some of her friends. Apparently, I had gone in her booty not to long after her trip to the bathroom. Every once in a while, one of her friends would bring it up and laugh about it. Maybe that doesn't bother some people, but it did bother me. Because of that experience I'm very hesitant to bring up anal to women that I meet, I don't initiate or ask for it. I just wait for the woman to initiate it and hope that it won't be an issue later on down the line. Long story short I think you definitely have to watch out when it comes to anal as people can be very judgmental. I'm curious to know if anyone out there has dealt with that type of situation?

What a awkward situation, mate. It happened to me once that when a woman learned of my strong preference towards anal sex she would send me gifs of vaginal penetration and tell me of conversations about vaginal sex with her fuck mates and imply that real "macho" men loved pussy. I blocked her, but it was definitely not nice. I had a one year relationship which ended a month and a half ago. We would do vaginal sex in the begining, but later it was just oral and anal. She was very kind and supportive of my sexuality, and she also really enjoyed anal sex, which I was the first man to do with her. The relationship didn't continue, but I still have a very strong feeling of friendship and gratitude towards her. You have to be careful with this subject because some people are nice, but others are absolute assholes (pun intended).
