The average length of the rectum is 12 cm or 4.7 inches. Attached to rectum is the sigmoid colon. My wife can take a thick glass dildo about 6 or 7 inches deep without penetrating the sigmoid colon.

I’m sure there are people more knowledgeable about depth play than me, but you probably want to use a thin, soft, silicone dildo to insert in your sigmoid.
