I open “unread topics” and see 40. (!) PAGES of new posts. All the same posts, promoting a website, made under a massively huge number of new accounts.
I fear this is AI at work in the most annoying way possible and means the final downfall of this forum, since the admin doesn’t give a fuck anymore.
So in case this happens, thanks for all the info, talks and experiences.

The original admin gives no sign of life. And only he can give the real control of the forum to a successor.

Agreed! And I’m one of the people who has authority to ban and delete. I’ve just banned everyone who joined in the last 24 hours who made more than 10 posts, I’ve started deleting posts one by one,,, but honestly it’s overwhelming… there are 1000s of posts. I can’t do this fast enough either. I also start work in 22 minutes. I’m feeling pretty defeated

I am happy to say I figured out how to ban the IP address of the spammer - the fake user accounts all had the same ip. And since doing that, no new spammer has joined. So I have stalled any new spam attacks. I am thinking of just trying to slowly delete the spam bit bay bit, starting with the newer posts first so people can see a delineation to read new posts from today’s date forward. Knowing I’ve banned the IP makes me less hopeless abt all ,the time it will take to clean up the spam.
I’m also thinking it would be good if someone created a new forum that we could all gravitate to and have multiple mods… I don’t know enough abt how to do that myself.

I’ve been trying to find the creator of this site through whois, but he created it again through another hosting site, so no identity to be found.
Good that you found a helpfull tool. I also say payment for the sitename has been made till october 24. So if the admin doesn’t renew it, the site will cease to exist.

Hi, I am not really actively posting here as I am mostly just lurking around and reading everything but this is really the best forum about anal only lifestyle. I think it would be a real shame if it would disappear. This seems to me like the only place on the Internet without OF ads with serious discussion about topic.
Anyway, I have tried to look for the owner of the forum and domain too. Whois does not really say anything as it seems like he had anonymized contacts by Proxy Protection LLC. I guess that we would have to "stalk" him out via posts etc.
I am well able to create a new forum and domain etc so that people can gravitate to it. I guess I would also be willing to pay for it out of my own pocket (it is just few dollars a year really). BUT I am not sure if this is ideal solution as we do not know what are the plans of the owner of this forum. He can just be away for a while and have plans to make this functioning again. So it would look bad to try ot lure all the users somewhere else. This domain is registered since 2013, so he is paying for it for 11 years in a row after all. BUT if it domain would not end up being prolonged, it might be clever to have some space where everybody can meet after.
The best would be to reach to him (somehow) and find out what his plans are. If he would not want to do it anymore and would want somebody else take over it, that would be great solution too.
There is an incredibly big value in all the posts that everybody created over the years that would get lots. I have even been thinking about possibility of migrating the data too by parsing the website. Also about transfering the accounts and let people take the ownership by authenticating via old forum etc etc.. I guess I am overthinking it too much already.. and also I am unsure about legal/ethical aspect of doing this. I guess it would make more sense to make an archived mirror of the forum and start again.
