General discussion of the anal only lifestyle. If it doesn't fit elsewhere or isn't a personal comment or question, it probably goes here.

Anyone ever heard of this?
A quote from the article:
anal sex is on the rise among women, and it's no surprise that females were suddenly concerned with what they looked like from behind. Now, spas offering the bleaching say the product sells so quickly, they can hardly keep it on shelves. And many of the technicians affirmed they've noticed a definite spike in appointments booked in the past few years.

Certainly heard of it, but never encountered anyone other than porn stars who have done it. (Not that I've encountered porn stars…)

I've heard of it, but personally I'm not a fan of it and don't really see the point. I love the various "shades" of a woman's asshole. I was once in relationship with a woman who had a very dark colored anus, and I loved the way it looked!

I wasn't even aware anybody could or would like to do such a thing.
Like beauty surgery, this is something I could understand to a certain extent. Everybody searches to be more confident on his/her look. Making anal more common would inescapably lead to some deratives like this. I see this as a trend of more people going anal. And even if I wouldn't recommend anybody to do this, for health reason obviously (and because it has such a low impact on beauty, I think), I feel kind of glad to read this being spread...

I think that's more or less how I feel about it French Lover. At first, my eyebrows raised but then I realised that this meant women were becoming more conscious of their anuses, and understanding that they are attractive and have huge appeal to men. I still think its probably a slightly mad procedure, but if it makes them feel better then who's to judge? Personally I think all are attractive in their own way and women shouldn't be trying to aspire to one 'perfect' standard.

I love how some women are obviously now more concious of their anuses and looking after them..but..
What a strange thing to do.
My girlfriend is dark (in a slightly mediteranean way, although she isn't) and has a nice dark anus. Its perfect just the way it is. I'm wondering if there is a pattern in the colouration. Most blonde/red haired girls seem to have pink anuses. Is this true?

I do not like it. Not at all! I love the brown tint! I love the contrast between her cheeks. I love the way it looks streatched around my cock! Besides, it looks way too juvinile in my opinion! Blech! to Beach!!!

I don't care about bleaching. I think the anus is very sexy in its "natural" state. Nevertheless, as you say, it's a good sign that more women are paying attention to their assholes, and seeing the asshole as a sexual zone.

I like the fact, that anal bleaching was communicated quite openly. It was even published once in a common free daily newspaper, read by over half a million Swiss. I have no doubt that that alone told a big number of women and girls: "Your asshole has more value to your beauty than you think. Believe it or not: most men like the look of a woman's asshole."
But when it comes to the bleaching itself, I think this is a big waste of money. Yes, I love to look at a woman's anus. But not because its perfectly bleached and therefore fades seamless into her skin tan but because its naturally darker then her bum. It's like a special beauty spot making me wonder if it feels, smells and tastes different than the rest of her body.

There was a similar story in the mainstream UK press not all that long ago. I wish I could remember where. While I still don't really approve of, or think the procedure necessary, I'll admit it has positive effects:
1. Removing the 'shame' associated with the anus
2. Making it an acceptable talking point
And after all, why would women be doing this if not to attract attention to their anuses?
