French lessons

General discussion of the anal only lifestyle. If it doesn't fit elsewhere or isn't a personal comment or question, it probably goes here.

French lessons

Post by FarmerDan » Sat Sep 06, 2014 8:21 am

Anal sex used to be known as 'going Greek' (haven't heard that term much lately) but after reading posts here and elsewhere from French people I'm wondering whether France might be the country where it's most popular.

After all the French were famously keen on oral sex ('going French') and extra-marital affairs when these were considered outrageous in most other countries.

I've seen posts from French people with passing reference to anal that suggest it's nothing out out the ordinary.

Anybody living / has lived in France care to comment?

Well...
Anal is common in France, but as something you do very occasionnally, not like oral or vaginal sex.
I heard that when Frenchmen are looking for prostitutes, they always ask the price for anal. Far more than in other countries.

Marc Dorcel, a famous porn movie director, is one of the man behind this anal becoming mainstream.
We also have French pornstars (girls) like Katsuni and Coralie Trinh Tih who have publicly pointed out the sexual interest of anal sex. The second has wrote a very good book on it.
Not to mention popstars who have openly said to practice it. But this remains rare.

In France, it is mostly believe that a healthy sexuality includes a bit of anal sex to "spice things up".
... but it is also known that many men have no clue how to do it without hurting the woman.

In France, we have a proverb which says: "When the river is red, take the mud walk." Which means... naaaah, you probably understand what it means :D

Still, I believe
- in Germany there are more anal (and bisexual) girls than in France,
- the best country where to find an anal woman is Brazil.

I hope I answered to your curiosity.

Finally, these days, I have more trouble finding a girl who sucks than a girl who goes anal :D

Thanks FL that's more than I was hoping for!

Now, where's my passport ...

Firm facts are hard to come by in Australia but it was famously founded on 'rum, sodomy, and the lash' because most of the first white settlers were male convicts. And most of the girls I've come across seem keen to observe tradition ..

Maybe it could be a good idea if everybody could explain how anal is seen in his/her country :)

Where I am (California, USA), I see the attitude toward anal sex evolving very quickly. Fifteen years ago anal sex was "taboo", mostly associated with gay men. Now it is something that I would say a majority of sexually active (heterosexual) people have tried at least once. Nearly everyone in the US watches porn growing up (both girls and boys, whether they admit it or not), and as we know anal is everywhere in porn. For young people forming an impression of sex in general, I think the impact of porn can't be overstated. When you have these beautiful women (and handsome men) doing anal on camera and having fun, that will have a profound impact on a young person who is first learning about sex.

We've also seen in the US the popularity of "sex positive" personalities in the media. It started years ago with Dr. Ruth Westheimer, who encouraged people to take a more open, less repressed view of sex. Now we have Dan Savage, who encourages concepts like being GGG (good, giving, and game) with your sex partner. So there is a much greater ethos now of trying new things.

Finally, I think online forums where people can interact anonymously (like this one) have done a lot to normalize "taboo" sex in general. Freaks are a lot more common than anyone expected. :)

Some stats came out here (Australia) in the last few days showing that the contraceptive pill is now used by only about 30% of women. Another 30% use a variety of barriers and devices (and some use the 'rhythm' method). It's interesting to wonder how many of the rest use anal sex at least some of the time as a contraceptive.

My first answer on this forum!
The first time i got to know about anal sex, was when I godt asked if I knew about "greek massage".
I see French more like oral.
