Have you tried this move? Is this something you can suggest to others? What is its benefit? Or is this just for the porn industry to neatly show the penetration? It looks rather inconvenient to me.

One should always keep in mind that porn is a distorted viewpoint of human sexuality, as it represents a fantasy POV of human sexuality. Just like romance movies show us a distorted viewpoint of human relationships.

So yeah, there might be people who do this, but I would not expect to have this happen to me anytime soon.

Well, you are sounding judgmental, while still not answering the question. He asked a legitimate question about whether this position offers any particular pleasure to women, while openly offering the alternate suggestion that it was just for visual effect in porn. Instead of answering, you suggested he needs to get a girlfriend if he doesn't naturally know the answer.

Just adding, I have a GF for 2 years now and been married before since 1996. I know what women like and I would not even ask my GF to do this, because it does not look like pleasure. That is why I ask the experienced ones, because there is always the chance I might be wrong.

He's not a woman. Men and women often have very different perspectives on sexual pleasure, and simply imagining he's a woman isn't going to get him any closer to answering the question.

That is not really feasible to how most people have sex actually. Reverse cowgirl and having your ankles strung up is highly enjoyable though. Being in a full nelson for the duration of anal sex is not.
