Hey! We're a couple who would be turning into anal only anytime but hemorrhoids have been literally a pain the ass for us. We know anal sex doesn't cause hemorrhoids when practiced correctly, but it seems that our play has made her existing ones worse. She has tried different salves to help the situation, but they don't seem to be that efficient.

We're now contemplating on Barron's ligature (rubber banding them). It costs a lot, so we want to be sure it's not all for nothing. Does anyone here have any experience with the procedure and resuming anal sex after that? Could the operation only worsen the situation with more painful scars or could it actually help us? Should she expect to go through the procedure multiple times?
