Here is a little trick the wife and I discovered to tighten things up back there.
After we have been at it awhile and she has had at least one cum she tells me it's time to dry things off.

use the smaller buttplugs: tis way you prepare her ass for penetration but you maintain the tightness for you too to enjoy.
use buttplugs only before sex, don't use it during the day like an accessory.

I’ll have to give this a try. We use minimal lube anyway because her ass gets juicy during anal play. Initial penetration without much lube when done slowly will often make her cum, but I’ll have to try your idea.
