Uh, we must have different definitions of pain.

I can feel it when I floss my teeth, just like I can feel it when I brush my teeth or wash my hands.

But, I'd never say flossing "hurts."

To each their own so long as it's consensual.

I like "hard," which to me is very different than "painful."
