We're having another lull in the conversation, or so it seems. While we wait for the discussions to revive here's some questions for you.

When you first tried anal, was it part of some long standing wish to do so?
Or was it just experimentation and trying out something new for the hell of it?
Was it your idea or a partners?
Did you like it straight away or did it take time for you to enjoy?

Me personally I was young 16 an the girl told me to.... Since then its always been going for it .... Not until I was 25 ish did I truly understand the proper steps.... L:ube foreplay ....

As teens my g/f and I got hold of a porn VHS & were watching it when one of the actresses told the actor "back door me baby!" I was stunned by what I saw & instantly knew I wanted to try that. I also became sexually active at an early age, 15 for me. One day I told her I wanted to try anal and she seemed quite put off, although she had previously expressed vehemently that she wanted to be very experimental and would try anything I asked of her. So we began to experiment with it slowly, first with my fingering her asshole a little, at her request. For a while I reminded her frequently that she had promised we would try full anal sex but she would have some reason to delay. Then one night she simply stated that she wanted to try then and we lubed up with vaseline and I inserted myself into her anus very slowly and gently. Once it got in I was able to penetrate and thrust fairly well and when I told her I was going to cum she said she wanted me to. I can actually remember the whole thing like it was yesterday. Anal became a frequent activity for us from that point on, but I was rarely getting as much of it as I wanted. My next gf was much more accomodating to my desire and my long term relationship following that was almost entirely AO.

Since my "very" first introductions to anal sex would deviate from the standard decorum of this site, I will stay with what is more favored and acceptable.

Since I already understood how pleasurable anal could be, at this point in life my wish for it wasn't a "long standing" one.

On my part, it definitely wasn't just a desire to experiment or try something new for the hell of it. In my wife's mind, I'm sure it was all more in the realm of experimentation. In my naivety, I thought that my wife would naturally love it right off, and anal would become a regular part of our sex life.

It was definitely my idea.

Of course, I liked it right off, but my wife's initial reaction to it can best be described as one of ambivalence, which was difficult for me to understand. It took a while for my wife to move beyond her issues with it and learn to enjoy it.

The former. My fascination with anal sex started right around when I started having sex (at 15yrs) but it wasn't until around 19 or 20 that I first got to try it.

It was my idea for a long time but when it finally happened it was because the partner at the time finally suggested giving it a go. In this case, it was because we had separated and she knew that this would be something that would keep me interested/get me back.

Early anal experiences were relatively dismal in retrospect. I thought it was great at the time simply because I was finally doing something I fantasized about so deeply. The reality was that the early experiences were all with girls who were not into it and didn't get pleasure from it and so it was a slow and short-lived experience that usually ended with manual stimulation after they couldn't go any further.

Years later I introduced anal sex to a girlfriend who took to it very receptively and then I discovered what anal sex was really meant to be and realized how terrible all my prior experiences had been.

With another girlfriend when i was 18. Trying anal was my idea because i had wanted to as long as i could remember. She had tried it before and i had to talk her into it. I loved it right away though as it felt so much more like how sex was meant to feel to me.
