Rating system

What do we think about having a rating system on the forums where users can at least "Like" and perhaps "Dislike" posts of other users? A lot of people who don't contribute by posting might like to contribute in this way.

I'm certainly open to ideas like this, but phpBB is a nightmare to modify.
