Yeah... the lack of activity here is extremely sad and surprising!

Perhaps the Admin needs to do more, or something a bit different, to get things moving?

There are a lot of people out there with similar interests, but many of them aren't aware that there's a name for their interests or a group of other people who openly discuss those interests. Until they start searching for related topics, they're not going to find this site or others related to it. If you run an anal only site or blog, feel free to link to the forum—that's what I do occasionally via my other sites, and it does slowly boost numbers.

Dude, youre either being naive or just ignoring reality!

Everybody knows about Anal and the overwhelming majority of men are searching for it on the internet!

What this place need is more effort bro! You need to promote this site far more... give it more features and functionality... and stay active on it yourself much much more!

People wont join a forum if they see its pretty much dead - we all need to bring this place to life... especially you AdminDude cos you seem to be MIA most of the time bro!

PS: Your Tumblr site is freakin Awesome - but you seem to be going down the "Extreme Anal" path instead of focussing more on normal Anal... this could actually make people less likely to come here... we gotta make Anal sex seem as natural as a Oral sex, not some fetish full of freakery! ;)

I have been accessing websites related to anal sex for a long time, but I only discovered this forum a little over 2 weeks ago, and it was through a mention in Tumblr. Without meaning to sound naive, I think there is something that can be done to boost our accesses, besides the already mentioned effort to keep the forum more active. When my husband hired a web designer to develop his professional website, I remember he constantly talked about something called "meta tags". He explained to me that these are key words included in the code of the website that make it appear more easily to search engines. He even asked me to help make a list of possible words that would potentially point to his website.

Well, if this has not already been done, I would suggest talking to the web master of our forum and ask him/her to include in the code words such as:

anus, anal, anal sex, anal love, sodomy, ass, butt, asshole, butthole, ass fuck, butt fuck, butt plug, gape, booty, backdoor, bum, cheeks, tail and, of course, anal only. the list can be endless.

I am sure other members can contribute.

kisses!

While meta keywords tags were once a major part of search engine optimization practices, they are no longer—most search engines barely utilize them in their ranking anymore, and Google completely ignores them. This is because they are so easily abused for purposes like keyword stuffing, where someone could pick unrelated but high ranking search terms to try and boost their rank in unrelated searches. Page titles and content—things that actually show up for everyone—are what gets used now.

This site does utilize a meta description to summarize its topic in search results. That description is currently
A discussion forum for people interested in or practicing the anal only lifestyle by choosing to completely replace vaginal sex with anal.

I'd be open to changing that, and have considered including more general anal sex language in it rather than explicitly anal only, but I also don't want to dilute what the primary theme of this site is. Note that the meta description does not influence search rank, it just affects what users see when this site comes up in their search results.

phpBB is pretty awful to modify and doesn't exactly follow SEO best-practices. Forums in general are hard to optimize to search engines. I've made a few tweaks, however, and will try to continue to optimize it. If you run a site—even just a blog on Tumblr—and would like to make a post summarizing the site and linking to it, feel free to do so. Links from other good sites are a key factor in boosting search rank.

For anyone interested, in the past month, the site has had over 42,000 search impressions in Google—that means it showed up in people's search results that many times when searching for related topics. Out of those times, the actual search result was clicked, bringing people to this site, almost 7,000 times.

Some of the most popular search queries that people found this site with in the past month are:

anal only lifestyle
anal only
vaginal chastity
addicted to anal
anal only pornstars
anal only forum
pornstars who only do anal
how to gape
anal only relationship

Analsexonly, it's great to see a few new sign-ups, I suppose this is due to raising awareness on Tumblr, which I am happy to have (I hope) contributed to. It does seem to be a fine line to toe in raising awareness without becoming spammy. One type of Google search that would be great to achieve a high ranking in would be searches such as "he only wants anal", "i only want anal", "i only like anal sex", etc. I have a hunch that this type of search occurs very often by those seeking guidance with how to handle their desires. I think that this forum could help them in understanding that anal only can be a feasible lifestyle choice and that their desires are not at all uncommon or abnormal!

Google Trends is a fairly good resource for examining and comparing the relative popularity of search queries, and while it doesn't provide actual usage numbers, it can give an indication of queries that don't get used much—and none of those, for example, are popular enough to generate useful data.

"anal only" is actually quite a popular query these days, and has been growing steadily in popularity since 2007.

That said, targeting the small number of focused queries like you gave as examples could still be valuable, because even if there aren't a large number of people who search for those terms, it would be good to help those who do find this community. It's hard to do this sort of targeting with entirely user generated content like a forum, though. Perhaps a "Guides" forum could be beneficial with longer form "articles" written on some of these subjects.

Why we are not visible

Post by Haunter » Mon Oct 31, 2016 4:11 am

Hello, I observed thet if you type "anal sex only", which might be a rather common instruction to Google to find something similar to our group, our forum appears in the 10th position (in my browser, at the bottom of the first page). Maybe this is the motive why we are more unknow than we deserved. Any suggestion to raise through the google list?
Think, it's free ;-)
