Your own take on it is quite interesting, and I'm not sure it's one I've encountered before, so thanks for sharing! It does sound like it is driven by submission more than anything, though I think that most people can come to love it more and more with increased experience and practice.

I think most people who identify as anal only still very much include oral sex. Some may replace cunnilingus completely with analingus, while others still do cunnilingus just as much as well, only replacing vaginal penetration with anal, but not external stimulation. Most AO women still include clit stimulation, I think, though some choose to avoid that as well for a variety of reasons, including pursuing pure anal orgasms instead.

If it isn't interesting to you, I wouldn't suggest it, and you might want to add anal into the mix a bit more often to get more experience with it first too, but I usually recommend that people who haven't tried AO before but are curious give it a spin for a month or so just to see what it's really all about. Often they find that they don't miss vaginal intercourse as much as they thought they would.

Kissing and intercourse are the only sexual acts that can ever be mutual, maybe that's why so many prostitutes won't kiss (since they can't deny intercourse)... but I think I overextended myself a lot, actually.
