Hi there! Just thought i'd make a quick introduction, been reading the posts here lately and i'm sure i'll get involved soon.

Only started having anal last year after failed attempts with previous partners, started seeing this girl and although i wasn't really into here, what was great that anal was available whenever i wanted! That lasted only a few weeks, which finished up being a FWB arrangement. But that ended because i started seeing who's become my current girlfriend.

Quickly found out she loved sex, and a few months ago I managed to get her to agree to anal with me. From then on, we'd have it in spurts and somewhat regularly from then on. She's told friends that she enjoys it, and encourages them to try it, though says that vaginal is still preferable.
Lately, there's been a couple of times that we've skipped having vaginal beforehand, and gone straight to anal. Doubt that i want it to progress to AO, but i think maybe just the option of being able to go straight there would be a goal i want to reach.

I think this is a reasonable goal. Although in our relationship most often go straight to anal when we have sex, we still have vaginal sex on occasion, but mainly as foreplay. Even though anal is my favorite and first choice most times, I can and do enjoy vaginal, oral...,etc. In the past, I was more obsessive about anal sex because I wasn't getting it as often as I wanted, or felt somehow that it was off limits most of the time. When it evolved to the place in our relationship where anal was always available, and I could go straight there if I wanted, then anal became a much healthier aspect of our sexual relationship.

Thanks amorous945! Yeah i suppose you have to be realistic, few women would want to go AO, but i think my goal is more attainable, besides things may change in the future. Having some vaginal does mix things up and keep it from going stale, plus sometimes you just want to be spontaneous without the prep and cleanup helps.

I do think with the correct approach, and enough time, many women can will give serious consideration to AO. However, I do think you are right in keeping to your own expectations and goals.

I have to say, I never find that AO becomes stale - Every time feels as fresh and exciting as the very first. The prep and cleanup, once it's a regular habit, hardly takes any time at all, and I consider it a small price to pay for all that pleasure!

Lucky for you that you've found a women who's happy to go straight to anal. That's a good sign.

I totally agree with you, Marcus! Anal never gets stale or loses it's appeal to me, either. I can't say the same for other sexual acts. As far as preparation and cleanup are concerned, other than lub and wiping off with towel when we're through, we never use any other preparation or cleanup. My wife will "sometimes" go to the bathroom afterwards to expel as much ejaculate as possible, but that usually depends on the time of day and other circumstances. If we have sex around bedtime, we both usually just wipe off with a towel and go to sleep. In our experience, a lot of preparation and cleanup just isn't necessary, but that's just what works for us.

Hi melbourne. Whatever amount of anal you get, it's all good if that makes both of you happy. I just know I'd happily forgo any spontoneity if it meant anal everytime.

Its great to see another Melbourian here. I've begun to wonder if the concept of AO or even enojment of anal sex is not talked about at all locally. It has been something I've held back on discussing with friends. From what you said, it seems your girl is happy to discuss with her friends. Is that right? Are you both open about it?

When i say stale, it's not just for me i mention that, but with her too; she's barely gotten into vaginal enough to miss it yet, she's not going to be ready to abandon it. She does still prefer vaginal, and previously felt extremely tender all week after having anal four times in a weekend, don't want to hurt her.
Plus, not sticking with one sole thing is somewhat describes me.

@urabus, also good to see another Melbournian, and yes she is happy to discuss it with (open minded) friends. She admits she enjoys it, even as far as sharing with some exactly when with, her best freinds have seen phone pics.
But as mentioned, it's with open minded friends who are confident about their bodies and sex lives. Other's we joke about sex with, but we only joke about sex in general, nothing specific or unconventional, and they'd probably find the idea of anal wrong.
