I only just discovered this forum and thought I would sign up and introduce myself. I never knew there was a forum for this and happy to find a place with people of similar interests

A little bit about myself. My girlfriend and I have been dating for 3 years and have led an anal only for about 2 years. We haven't had vaginal sex in those 2 years and can honestly say we both love anal and the switch has been fabulous. Contributions like yours give those of us who aspire to AO life hope that we can do it too! Those longer and harder orgasms have been very persuasive in getting my girlfriend to be open to anal with ever incresing frequency. I don't really understand "squirting" - isn't that just losing bladder control?

Like with most things, there isn't a halfway house - she's either willing or she's not. Just ask her to do it sometime would be my advice, as I can't see a way of bringing it up which doesn't in the end lead to either yes or no. My wife won't - I asked and she said no and that was the end of that, but then again it's not a great fantasy of mine like it is with many others around here.

I don't speak from direct experience (my wife hasn't done ATM yet), but are you preparing her thoroughly beforehand? That's what the porn stars do, get squeaky clean inside first. It seems this would make it likelier to get her interested. (Does anybody do ATM without a thorough cleaning beforehand?)

The function of the clitoris is as the main erogenous zone on the female body - the female equivalent of a penis. While some women might be able to sometimes achieve orgasm from vaginal or anal stimulation alone, I personally don't see the point. Think about it from a male perspective. Maybe there could be way for a male to achieve orgasm without involving penile stimulation. It may be possible but it probably wouldn't happen easily or often and it wouldn't necessarily be better than a penis-aided orgasm.

It's my opinion, Robert, that your (or anyone's) best hope to help your partner become turned-on by the idea of having anal intercourse every time you make love is to make sure she has plenty of clitoral stimulation while you're together.

My theory is that vast majority of men who have anal-only wives are probably very generous lovers in bed and good husbands the rest of the time. Here's my tip for anyone reading this post:

In our case, regular vaginal sex just seems too vanilla for us now. That's why my wife wants anal every time for it to be satisfying for her. But that doesn't mean we ignore her clitoris.
