Being extremely picky with my porn tastes, I have a bit of a collection compiled of scenes (and some full movies) which are entirely anal. Most movies/scenes still don't make the cut as they include too much of the mainstream porn touch (like chocking a girl on a cock, etc), and I never retain scenes in which a girl obviously isn't enjoying anal sex. They need to be into it or at least be capable of acting like they are. The most arousing thing in the world to me is a women who can comfortably and pleasurably accept a penis anally and enjoy herself. Sometimes I do enjoy some of the more 'gonzo', hardcore stuff as I have a guilty taste for anal gapes and sometimes prolapse, but these types of things don't stay in my collection much as what I really prefer is what I stated above.

Porn is really a visual means to fantasise. Most people watch porn because its either slightly or far removed from their reality, exploration. So because anal sex has grown in popularity would mean that it is certainly being accepted into mainstream and less of a taboo. Th key advantage to the rise of anal in porn is the arrival of "straight to the anus" films, which were once very hard to get (unless you edit the vaginal sequences out). Titally AO porn is now an established sub-genre.

The normalisation of anal is also great, or perhaps is great for coming generations who will expect to do it anally because that is what they have seen; so they can discover their natural anal inclination and not withhold a natural urge because of pointless social taboo.
