Fermi Paradox: where are all the others?

Where are all the others? With this question I ask myself and you how big is on this world the race of AO people: has anyone ever encountered a community similar to this somewhere else in the net?

Fetlife had some groups dedicated to anal sex, vaginal chastity, male chastity, etc. There are also blogs on Tumblr and Blogspot dedicated to anal only porn, advice, stories, or all of that stuff together. Maybe more will pop up but as far as I know we're the only (and first!) AO community presently around. There has to be a first for everything I suppose!

No, there are no other general Anal Only communities—with such a niche topic, why would there be? If there was, we'd all be there instead of here.

The closest is, as scioness noted, several small fetlife groups.

That subreddit @scioness posted is now officially part of the Anal Only Lifestyle community, so feel free to check it out and join if you participate on reddit. It could use some more activity!

It does defy explanation. I would have thought that the interest would be huge. The latest stats that I've been seeing are that about 40% men and women have tried anal sex. Now, we know with a topic like this that the people that answer truthfully often lags reality, so we can assume a higher figure.

I just don't understand how anybody can try anal sex and then want to do anything else.

Conversations I've had on and off line suggest that many people are enjoying anal sex with making a big deal out of it. Just because they don't show up here doesn't mean it's not happening!

Absolutely, the people who talk about anal sex or the anal only lifestyle are just the tip of the iceberg—many others haven't found us yet, and others yet may have (or not) but aren't inclined to post and talk about it online. The fact that we keep getting people turning up in the community who have been anal only for extended periods of time, sometimes aware it's a thing other people do and other times not particularly, just doing it because it's right for them, proves that it's very much happening all over and those active here are just a portion of the global anal/AO activity.
