Here's an important subject we don't get to discuss much.
You only have to walk down the street to notice that no two people look alike. Those of us who have the pleasure of (ahem) closely inspecting a variety of genitalia can tell you that's just as true under the covers. And we can reasonably assume that our internal parts have the same sort of variety.
If you're not having the sort of anal experiences that people happily discuss around here, it may not be due to incompetence. You only have to think about when happens when an ample butt is dealing with a below-average penis to realise that he's not going to get far into that rectum.
On the other hand a trim butt and an outsize cock are likely to lead discussions of how to get through that internal sphincter (which lies beyond the rectum). Even then there seems to be a variety of angles where the rectum meets the sigmoid colon, which can require the appropriate technique to be worked out person by person.

Well put FD. I couldn't agree with you more. Although I believe any couple can experience satisfying anal sex, in most instances it takes some practice and good communication... And lube. Don't forget the lube
