Agreed. I am checking this board almost daily and always disappointed when there aren't new posts.

For me... I am a single guy, but recently met up with a young lady I met from the dating app tinder. So, while I shall continue to check in here now and again I'll likely not be participating much for the foreseeable future.

Apologies to any who really are trying to contribute and discuss in good faith, but it is next to impossible to separate the genuine from the fantasists.

Is it so surprising that people into AO would be deviant in other ways as well?

Does there have to be a reason for people to be AO? As most of us are in agreement that AO is our preference, does there really need to be a spoken acceptance for what we do as consenting adults. I do it because I enjoy it.
I like the stories but don't like analyzing why we as a group prefer anal to vaginal.

Interesting, I think of myself as quite bland in this regard actually. I've been married 25 years & our sex is predominantly anal (although not exclusively - which I'd love). We don't swap partners, we do have a couple toys & have watched some porn but other than that we're pretty "normal" (whatever that is). I've got no issues with others who are into more than that. I do wish for some more discussions abt what the AO choice means for each of us...

However, aside from the occasional question, remark or new experience that someone might post, there's only so much that one can say about anal sex. As I see it, the only way conversations will stay fresh will only come as a result of new members sharing their experiences and input.

Even though some of the ideas and reasons for the preference for anal varies widely in this group, so far it's the most substantive discussion I've found on this area of sexuality, so, personally, I will continue to "hang my hat" here and hope for new members to keep the discussions fresh. As much as I love anal sex, there's only so much that I can add without becoming redundant.

Understanding is the same thing as acceptance. But aren't you in the least bit curious what makes you different from the majority? If not, can you accept there are those who do?

I don't think there will be many new members.

The reason I say so, is that others who have felt the same way will come here and be scared off by the "wife swapping" etc, thinking everyone is some weird pervert.

How does it help those who are trying convince a partner that AO is normal, that it can even be better, if that partner who is perhaps sitting on the fence undecided and they come her for when doing a little research?

I actually think there is plenty to be said about the subject. I did attempt to start a number of subjects but I think exploring the subject has limited appeal for those just looking for wank material.
